The Military Police of Mato Grosso State, Brazil, has begun verifying the effectiveness of CRIME NABI.

Updated: Nov 4, 2025

We are pleased to announce that the Military Police of the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil, has commenced verification of the effectiveness of CRIME NABI.

To date, we have developed the crime prediction system ‘CRIME NABI’ based on crime prediction algorithms incorporating our proprietary high-precision, high-speed methodology. Furthermore, last year we established a subsidiary in the Federative Republic of Brazil to support the introduction of our products to police and government agencies within the country, where there is high demand for solutions addressing public safety challenges.

We have now signed a partnership agreement with the Military Police of the State of Mato Grosso, Brazil, to conduct a verification of the usability and effectiveness of solutions utilizing CRIME NABI for application in police operations. This verification will commence in December 2024.

Mato Grosso is a state located in central-western Brazil, renowned for its vast nature reserves and rich biodiversity. Its capital, Cuiabá, plays a central geographic and economic role in Brazil. The state's name means “dense forest,” reflecting its former forested landscape. Deforestation driven by expanding agriculture and mining poses a serious challenge. Particularly in the Amazon region, efforts to achieve sustainable development while preserving the natural environment are urgently needed.

Due to its geographical location, the state of Mato Grosso experiences frequent criminal activities such as drug smuggling and trafficking of contraband goods, requiring law enforcement agencies to conduct ongoing operations.

Target Product

The product we will be using for this verification is our ‘Hotspot Policing Tool’ utilizing CRIME NABI.

The ‘Hotspot Policing Tool’ simplifies the implementation of Hotspot Policing, a methodology recognized for its academic utility. By importing crime history data owned by each police agency, anyone—not just data analysis experts—can easily identify hotspots based on crime prediction results. Using detected hotspots as a reference for creating patrol plans enables efficient security operations.
