We are pleased to announce that we will begin validation of the CRIME NABI crime prediction system with the Military Police of the State of Alagoas, Federative Republic of Brazil.
We have developed a crime prediction system, “CRIME NABI,” based on our crime prediction algorithm, which includes a highly accurate and fast proprietary method. Last year, we established a subsidiary in the Federative Republic of Brazil to support the introduction of our products to the police and government agencies in the country, where there is a great need for public security.
The company has signed a new partnership agreement with the State of Alagoas, Brazil’s Department of Safety and Military Police to conduct a validation of CRIME NABI solutions and their application to police work, which will begin in April 2024.
The state of Alagoas is located in northeastern Brazil, where agriculture and tourism are the mainstays of the economy. In recent years, the state government has been making efforts to improve public safety and ensure public security. Centered on the state capital, Maceió, the state government has been promoting various initiatives in cooperation with the military police.

◆Target Products
The two products we plan to use in this verification are the “Hotspot Policing Tool” and “Camera Grading” using CRIME NABI.
The “Hotspot Policing Tool” makes it easy to perform Hotspot Policing, which is academically recognized for its usefulness. By importing the crime data owned by each police agency, anyone can easily identify Hotspots based on crime prediction results, even if they are not an expert in data analysis. Efficient security activities are possible by creating patrol plans based on the detected Hotspots.

Camera Grading” supports the creation of a list of cameras to be monitored based on the results of crime prediction using data on actual crimes owned by each police agency. This makes the manned visual checks of surveillance cameras that are widely used by police agencies more efficient and allows them to focus their surveillance activities on critical areas. The system does not require complicated procedures and can be easily performed by anyone using proprietary data.
