We are pleased to announce that we will begin validation of the CRIME NABI crime prediction system with the State Military Police of Mato Grosso, Federative Republic of Brazil.
To date, we have developed a crime prediction system, CRIME NABI, based on our crime prediction algorithms, including our own highly accurate and fast methods. In 2023, we established a subsidiary in the Federative Republic of Brazil to support the introduction of our products to police and government agencies in the country, where there is a high need for public safety issues, and we have been conducting verification with several police agencies.
A new partnership agreement has been signed with the Military Police of the state of Mato Grosso, Brazil, to conduct a validation of the application of CRIME NABI-based solutions to police operations, which will begin in December 2024.
The state of Mato Grosso is located in the Midwest of Brazil and boasts vast nature reserves and rich biodiversity. The state capital is Cuiabá, which serves as the geographic and economic center of Brazil. The state’s name means “thick forest,” referring to its former forested areas. Deforestation due to the expansion of agriculture and mining has become a serious issue. In the Amazon region in particular, efforts to achieve sustainable development while preserving the natural environment are required.
In the state of Mato Grosso, due to its geographical location, crimes such as drug smuggling and trafficking of contraband are common, and security agencies are conducting ongoing operations.

◆Target Product
The product we plan to use for this verification is the “Hotspot Policing Tool” using CRIME NABI.
The “Hotspot Policing Tool” makes it easy to perform Hotspot Policing, which is academically recognized for its usefulness. By incorporating the crime data owned by each police agency, anyone can easily identify Hotspots based on crime prediction results, even if they are not an expert in data analysis. Efficient security activities are possible by creating patrol plans based on the detected Hotspots.
