From June 9, 2023 to late August, a demonstration experiment of the “PATCOMU” application, which uses crime prediction technology to keep an eye on community safety, will be conducted in Kobe City, Hyogo Prefecture.
We have developed a crime prediction system based on our crime prediction algorithm, which includes highly accurate and fast proprietary methods. We have also released “PATCOMU” as an application to watch over community safety, and provide local governments with solutions such as automatic formulation of efficient crime prevention patrol routes and data collection using AI crime prediction and its application, and collection of information on city problems by local residents.
This time, with the cooperation of community groups and NPOs engaged in crime prevention patrols in Kobe City, we will conduct a demonstration experiment on the usability and usefulness of “Patcomu” with the aim of realizing a safe and livable community. In addition, in order to reflect the opinions of the younger generation, we will also have university students, who are involved in volunteer work on a daily basis, experience anticrime patrols using the application.

About “PATCOMU,” an application to watch over the safety of the community.
“Patcomu” is a cloud service that supports “crime prevention” and “disaster preparedness,” both of which are important for maintaining community safety, and provides the following functions.

・Heatmap of AI crime prediction and past crime results can be checked for both Web and mobile devices
●Patrols
・Create efficient routes based on AI-based forecasts
・Create routes using a web app, and patrol while referring to them in the mobile app
・Automatically collects performance data

●Posting of town notices
・You can take a picture of the “town’s interesting points” and post it easily from the mobile app
・Managers can view the collected submissions from the web app
●Visualization of patrol results
・Real-time tabulation and visualization of patrol results by individuals and groups
